The non-coding technical interview had basic cs fundamental questions around stacks, heaps, threads vs processes, basic multi programming - locks, etc. and then an algorithm question (say LC Medium) where you had to come up with the algorithm (but not code it). Generally if you want to chase money, you need to move to a smaller firm which has higher revenue/employee. HRT and JS hire a lot of Core Dev / Quant SWE.
